Ask people to observe salvation night in homes instead of mosques

Jammu, Mar 22: In order to prevent the spread of Corona Virus among the people, the District administration in Doda District has order imposing the ban on celebration of holy Shab-e-Mehraj inside mosques— Shab-e-Mehraj is the night when last prophet of Muslims Prophet Mohammad (SAW) accompanied by angel Jabrial was taken to skies to show him (Mohammad PBUH) the creation in universe beside was taken to paradise.
As per the details available with Early Times, the administration ask the people to not visit the mosques and instead ask the people to observe the salvation night inside their homes.
“Since several restrictions including Section 144 Cr.PC stands imposed in the District and in view of the outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19) declared as “Pandemic” by World Health Organization. In order to prevent spread of the said disease, all Muslim community shall perform the holy Shab-e-Mehraj falling on 22-3-2020 at their homes in District Doda instead of mosques to avoid mass gatherings.”read the order issued by Kaiser Ahmed Bhawani, ADM Doda.
The order was welcomed by the people on social media and requested the people to follow the directions and orders issued by the administration.
Majority of the Muslim Community leaders also welcome the order issued by the ADM Kishtwar with regard to Shab-e-Mehraj and assured full cooperation with the local administration.
They says that if holy places like Khana Kabba and Prophet, mosque could be closed — the people in J&K should avoid to visit mosques and thus to play its part in efforts to defeat the threat from the Virus that has claim the lives of over 11500 people world vide.
