3/22/2020 10:22:05 PM
Early Times Report

Srinagar, Mar 22: Shopian Police reliably learned that one person identified as Irfan Ahmed Kuttey is motivating the youth of Imamsahib and adjoining areas to join banned terrorist outfit LeT.
Sources told Irfan Kuttey had motivated one Adil Bashir Lone to join LeT and further the activities of this banned terror outfit. Upon learning that, Shopian Police constituted several police parties and apprehended both Irfan Kuttey and Aadil Bashir Lone. Both apprehended accused were questioned and it came to the fore that the duo has been working as co-conspirators.
Irfan Kuttey revealed that he has worked as OGW of killed terrorist Zubair Turray in the past. Kuttey was introduced to Zubair Turray by Shahid Islam Naikoo, who is presently detained under the Public Safety Act (PSA). Irfan Kuttey further revealed that he was in constant touch with some terrorists operating in Pakistan through apps like Telegram and Vpole.
Kuttey had got direction from an unknown terrorist to recruit Adil Bashir Lone to the ranks of LeT.
Adil Bashir Lone revealed that in the month of November last year, he came in contact with one FT Waleed with whom he expressed his desire to join a terrorist group. That FT Waleed took his contact number and asked him to wait for a call. Nearly one month later, Aadil Bashir Lone received one WhatsApp call from +92-number and was confirmed as a member of the terror outfit.
In this connection, a case has been filed under sections 18, 39 of ULAP Act at the Imamsahib police station and further investigation is underway.
During Interrogation, Irfan Kuttey disclosed that he hid an AK-47 in his cowshed. This weapon was recovered by a police party during a raid on Sunday.
