Early Times Report

Jammu, Mar 22: To support an appeal made by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi of thanking those contributing in essential services especially doctors, security forces, people of Jammu beat utensils and clapped for them. Meanwhile two sisters studying in class tenth also penned down a song, composed it and sang to aware people on Corona Virus when people were beating utensils at 1700 hours.
The moment it was sharp 1700 hours, people including the young, old, children, were on their rooftops, in balconies, lawns, to participate in the unique way of thanking people contributing to the society in fighting the pandemic. "We support the Prime Minister and whatever he has requested, being citizen of India, it becomes our duty to obey it because it may have something positive," said Sushil Kumar.
Mahant Akhilesh said, "there is a belief that viral and bacterial infection slow down due to sound effects and it may be one of the reasons that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi made an appeal to the people and contribute this way."
However, when the people thanked the security personnel, sanitation staff, doctors, para-medical staff and the media who were fighting the Corona Virus by playing their roles, a song composed by two sisters of class tenth, was also played to aware public.
According to Sahiba Gupta, who wrote this song, the biggest concern at this time is Corona. According to her, she was hearing about it from the time of examinations and then she thought that she would make people aware of this disease.
Sahiba said that their parents are doctors and she has written the song by constantly asking them about ways to avoid this virus.
"Me and my sister wrote the song, then edited it and finalized it," she said adding that there is no need to fear of Corona but precaution can save people from this deadly disease. Tawi Welfare Society whole heartedly supported and observed one day Janta Curfew with other people of the country on the appeal of Honourable Prime Minister Sh. Narinder Modi. One day earlier all the members of the Society had door to door requested all of their villagers to be the part of this Janta Curfew. Society members also took part in drum/thali beating, clapping and ringing bell in respect of all those who are doing their jobs day and night to protect us all from deadly pandemic Corona Virus.
