JAMMU, May 4: BJP J&K UT executive committee member Nitish Mahajan on Monday expressed deep anguish over martyrdom of five security forces personnel in Handwara encounter and asserted that the sacrifice made by security personnel will not go in vain.
In a hard hitting statement against enemies of nation especially the perpetrators of terror originating from rogue nation Pakistan, he said that government will ensure that firm and decisive action should be taken against those responsible for this cowardly act of terror. “Every drop of security personnel’s blood will be avenged and the Narendra Modi led government at the Centre will ensure that the supreme sacrifice made by the five brave personnel including Colonel Ashutosh Sharma, Major Anuj Sood and Sub Inspector of JKP Shakeel Qazi and others will not go in vain”, Nitish said adding that an all-out offensive to trace and eliminate every single terrorist alive in Valley shall be ensued soon and it will be ensured that anyone inciting, propagating or promoting terrorist activities on Indian soil shall either be eliminated or put behind the bars as per the law.
“I salute their courage and service towards the nation and extend my profound and heartfelt condolences to the families of these brave-hearts. May Almighty give them enough courage and strength to bear with this irreparable loss,” Mahajan added.
