Unending casualties of brave hearts has exposed the saffron regime: Harsh
“BJP only capitalized the sacrifices of soldiers”

EARLY TIMES REPORT

JAMMU, May 4: Expressing grave concern over the growing incidents of militancy in J&K, Harsh Dev Singh chairman JKNPP and former minister along with other party leaders today paid rich tributes to the Army and police jawans who laid down their lives while fighting armed insurgents in the valley.
The nation shall always remain grateful to the brave hearts who had made supreme sacrifices for their country and its flag, said Singh. A silence of two minutes was observed to pay obeisance to the national heroes and to pray for peace to the departed souls.
Speaking on the occasion, Harsh Dev Singh castigated the BJP led govt at the centre for its failure to check ever increasing infiltration from across the border despite its loud sloganeering and incessant chest thumping. “The BJP rule has witnessed an alarming increase in the number of killings of our soldiers in militant attacks for which it was answerable to the nation. With unprecedented loss of precious lives of our brave soldiers during the last 4-5 years, the BJP has proved an utter failure in checking Pak sponsored terror. There have been several dastardly fatal attacks on our soldiers with Uri and Pulwama episodes having shaken the conscience of the nations across the globe which regretfully continue to occur post state’s re-organization and article 370 abolishment as well. And rather than ceiling the extremely porous borders and honouring its commitments of peace and stability in the region, the BJP led govt had been exploiting the sacrifices of the brave hearts for promoting its political interests”, lamented Singh.
Accusing the BJP regime for its exaggerated dissonance on dismantling terror infrastructure and restoration of peace in J&K, Singh said that it had failed to save the lives of its people not only on the borders but within the territory of the country.
Urging upon the BJP govt to shun bravado and one-upmanship attitude, Mr Singh emphasized upon the necessity of involving all mainstream political parties in J&K in restoring peace and normalcy in the new UT. He said that mainstream politics and not the majoritarian triumphalism of BJP was the solution to the woes affecting the erstwhile state of J&K.
