BDC Chairpersons from Ramban demanded free ration for all

Banihal, May 9: The Block Development Council Chairpersons from Ramban District today appealed to Lieutenant Governer Jammu and Kashmir UT requesting him to provide free ration to all ration card holders including NPHH and those migrants labourers who are stucked in Ramban.
As per the details available with Early Times, BDC chairpersons of district Ramban submitted a memorandum to Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir UT in which they appealed Leitutenant Governor of J&K UT to provide free ration to all ration card holders as well as to labourers who sucked here in Ramban, although free ration is being provided to AAY, BPL, PHH ration card holders but many people who haven't any of said categories of ration cards but are suffering very badly due to the continuous lockdown, their all sources of income get closed due to which their families are on the verge of starvation,they appealed for free ration to all ration card holders irrespective of any specific category of ration cards. Moreover BDC chairpersons of district Ramban showed their gratitude and thanked Prime Minister of India Sh Narider Modi ji and Leitutenant Governor Sh. G. C. Murmu ji for providing free ration till June,2020 under NFSA to those ration card holders who have AAY,BPL, PHH ration cards, which is proving a big sigh of relief for needy people during the emergency of Covid-19 and they also appealed to both Prime Minister of India and Leitutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir UT to take decision for the distribution of free ration to all ration card holders of district Ramban so that lives of poor and needy people and stucked migrant labourers could be saved from starvation during this emergency of Covid-19.
