| High explosive Pak shell destroyed along LoC | | |  Early Times Report
Poonch, May 29: Indian Army’s Bomb Disposal Squad on Friday morning destroyed a high explosive shell fired by Pakistan that was lying unexploded in a Line of Control village of Bhimber Gali sector of Poonch district.
Official sources said that six days ago, Pakistan army resorted to heavy mortar shelling in the area and a high explosive 120 mm mortar shell was lying unexploded in the area which otherwise was fired by Pakistan army but the same didn’t explode.
“ The shell was half inside the soil and was a big threat for locals after which locals approached army and on Friday a Bomb Disposal Squad of army reached on the spot and destroyed the shell.” saud sources.
They divulged that shell was destroyed through a controlled explosion carried out by army.
