Seventeen fresh positive cases, 345 active positive cases in north Kashmir

KUPWARA, June 1: Seventeen fresh positive cases were reported today, 345 are active positive cases, while as authorities have sealed two private diagnostic centers in Pattan of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
According to the details available, 11 fresh positive cases including 10 travelers and 01 other have been reported in Kupwara, cumulative cases are 279, while as 204 are active positive cases, in Baramulla 06 fresh cases were reported including 04 others and 02 travelers, and 238 are cumulative, 130 are active positive and 05 deaths have occurred so for, in Bandipora district of north Kashmir 146 are cumulative cases, including17 travelers and 129 others, 11 are active positive cases and 01 death has occurred so far.
However it is learn from sources that on Sunday evening authorities have sealed two private diagnostic centers in Hayderbeigh and Palhallan areas of Baramulla district town after several pregnant ladies Covid-19 tests was found positive in a single day in Pattan area who had reportedly visited the Diagnostic Centre for USG.
We have sealed Sahara Diagnostic Centres and MM Hospital Palhallan till further directions from higher authorities, said sources while quoting health official.
According to them they have temporary closed these diagnostic centers till staff sampled and results on Covid obtained.
“We have 18 pregnant ladies positive who, as per our sources have been visiting private clinics and diagnostic centers where no arrangements of sanitation and social distancing are available and have got virus there, said official.Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Dr G N Itoo today inspected various Red zones and review anti Carona arrangements.
DC today inspected various recently declared red zones viz Khawjabagh, Khanpora, Gauntmulla and other zones where he took review of the implementation of various COVID-19 related advisories especially observing lockdown and maintaining social distancing.
