Team Jammu honours Corona warrior Medicos serving at COVID-19 Hospitals

Jammu, June 11: Continuing its mission of serving people and encouraging those fighting COVID-19 pandemic, Team Jammu today honoured Corona warrior Medicos, who are treating and curing COVID-19 positive patients, in carious designated government Hospitals.
Activists of Team Jammu, led by Chairman Zorawar Singh Jamwal, personally visited these medicos and felicitated them by presenting Certificates of Appreciation highlighting their immense contribution to the society, particularly during the pandemic. These medicos are deputed in COVID designed centres and have been serving people risking their own lives.
Speaking on the occasion, Zorawar Singh Jamwal said that it was because of these medicos that India could control the death rate of COVID patients notwithstanding huge spread of the virus which has so far infected more than 2.5 lakh people across the country.
Appreciating hard core dedication of front line warrior’s against COVID 19 pandemic, Chairman Team Jammu, Zorawar Singh Jamwal and its volunteers saluted the Doctors of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H), Jammu who have posted in the Covid wards of Chest Diseases Hospital in the roster wise schedule issued by the respective Head of Departments including Orthopedic surgery, Gynecology and Paediatrics.
HoD, Orthopaedics Dr Sanjeev Gupta, Head of Unit, Dr Bias Dev and Dr Akhil Gupta who were also present on the occasion stated that real pandemic fighter’s jumped into the battlefield without any fear of contagious nature of disease or worst outcome. During interaction doctors briefed about the various treatment options being given to Covid positive patients and the ways they are encouraging positive patients psychologically. They also about the various difficulties being faced by the Doctors while performing duties.
Among other Doctors who were presented Certificates of Appreciation included Dr.Nikhil Gupta, Dr.Parul Sharma, Dr.Gagandeep Singh, Dr.Aditya Gupta, Dr.Nitish Sharma, Dr.Farid H Malik, Dr.Anoop Bhagat, Dr.Ashwani Bhagat, Dr.Amit Kumar, Dr.Raman Kumar, Dr.Varun Thusoo, Dr.Simran Singh, Dr.Shubam Surmal & Dr.Payal Gupta.
