BARAMULLA, July 6: Out of 246 positive cases, forty seven fresh positive cases were reported today, there are 777 active positive cases, 1979 are cumulative, 19 recovered and 36 deaths have occurred so far in north Kashmir as on date. According to the district wise positive cases that are available as on July 6, 2020 (Monday), In Baramulla district, there are 41 fresh positive cases including 02 travelers, 39 others that were reported today, there has been an increase in the cumulative cases that have gone up to 1064, and the active positive cases stands at 588, and cumulative recovered cases are 450, including of 11 recoveries while as 26 death, next highest after Srinagar that have occurred so far in this district.
In Kupwara district, 03 fresh positive cases including 01 travelers and 02 others that were reported today, while as there are 607 cumulative cases, 165 are active positive cases, cumulative recovered are 435 including 06 recoveries as on date, and 07 deaths have occurred so far.
In Bandipora district, 01 fresh positive cases have been reported in this north Kashmir district today whereas 308 are cumulative cases, 24 are active positive, 281 are cumulative recovered including 02 recoveries as on date and 03 death has occurred so far.
Meanwhile, an order related to massive fumigations in Baramulla town has been issued by the District Magistrate Baramulla vide no: DMB/PS/3035-40 dated 06/07/2020.
It said that, in order to conduct the massive fumigation of shops and other business establishments in Baramulla town, it is hereby ordered that all the shops/commercial/financial establishments including vendors in Baramulla town shall remain completely closed on July 7 and 8.
During these two days municipal council Baramulla shall conduct fumigations of all the business establishment, public places, financial establishments and government officers, said an order which is in possession of ET.
It further reads that, besides special sanitation, the drive shall also be conducted by MC Baramulla in the whole town.
