Jammu, July 26: Chairman, National Sikh Front, S. Varinderjeet Singh, in a statement, has termed the book titled ‘We The Sikhs’ authored by great cricketer Kapil Dev, as a splendid gift to the Sikh community from this legend.
S. Varinderjeet Singh said that the books have no expiry dates and they become treasures for the future generations.
This book having compilation of details related to The Gurus, The History and Artifacts and Gurudwaras is the outcome of more than four years of hard work by Kapil Dev, who travelled to prominent Gurudwaras in India as well as various countries where Sikhs are settled in large numbers and gathered information regarding the Gurudwaras, the Sikh culture and social services being rendered to the needy and poor without any discrimination of religion or region.
