Jammu, July 26: Shiv Sena Bala Saheb Thackeray Jammu and Kashmir unit today salute the martyrdom of Kargil war heroes, by remembering the valor of the war on Kargil victory day.
In a video conferencing event held at the party office here today , Shivsena leaders paid a heartfelt tribute to the Kargil martyrs on 21st anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas and warns China to stay in limits.
State President Manish Sahni said that the day is a reminder of the success of “Operation Vijay”, when Indian jawans attacked Pakistani intruders in the Kargil-Dras sector in 1999 Sahni said that 26 July is dedicated to Indian soldiers, who made supreme sacrifice to maintain and protect the integrity of the nation. The soldiers fought legendary battles in the Dras, Kaksar, Batalik and Turtuk areas at altitudes of more than 12,000 feet.
