| Plus 2 Officer Association highlights demands | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 25: All J&K Plus 2 Officers Association held an online meeting in Jammu under the Presidentship of Dr PP Raina along with all executive committee members . The Association highlighted the important issues facing the Plus 2 Cadre Officers like filling up of all vacant positions of Principals and Lecturers at an earliest as so many aspiring Sr Lecturers are going to get superannuation in the coming months and still most of the posts are lying vacant. The Association also stressed upon the Concerned Quarter to issue transfers orders of Principals and Lecturers at an earliest on large scale so that the suffering of the Principals & Lecturers may also be addressed at an earliest who have been waiting for transfers after completion of 2 years stay but the Association strongly objected to the transfers of blue eyed/ political influenced employees on city to city and on zero Kilometers basis in the recent orders. There is a dire need to decentralize the powers of effecting transfers of Lecturers and Principals to respective Directorates. The Association demanded that the government should accord sanction to our demand of Time Bound Promotions (ACP) for our Plus 2 Gazetted Cadre which has been the earnest demand from the day when their counterparts in other departments having same grades have been given the due benefits of time-bound promotions. The Association strongly demanded Regularisation of all Incharge cadre Officers from Lecturers to Jt Directors level who are waiting eagerly since 2003/ 2008 but the Department is in process of delaying as so many have gone their heavenly abode while some have Superannuated and some others are getting superannuation every month.
Placement of Sr Lecturers as ZEOs and equivalents, and appealed to fill all the vacant posts of ZEOs out of Sr Lecturers as both are equivalent posts. Provision of Non Vacational status to Principals and Lecturers who work in Summer and Winter Vacations in the institutions.
