Sarpanch Gandali Panchayat dedicates four upgraded electric transformers

RS PURA, Sept 7: All J&K Panchayat Conference, General Secretary and Sarpanch Panchayat Gandali of RS Pura, Gurdeep Singh Saini along with SHO PS Arnia Harjeet Singh dedicated power transformers to the people of the area. People of the village, including other representatives of the Panchayat, were also present on the occasion.
On the occasion, Saini informed that the power transformers have been upgraded in four villages comprised of Old Gandli, Kool Kothe Gandali, Kool Kothe Rathana and at Chak Nanaka. He expressed gratitude to the PDD for resolving the issue on priority basis due to which people have got relief from the problem of low voltage. Saini mentioned that he took up matter with PD Singh, Executive Engineer PDD about the problem of low voltage. After which he had assured that high-capacity power transformers would be installed in the panchayat at the earliest. And today without wasting any time, he installed the transformers in the four aforesaid villages. Saini said that all the promises made to the people of the panchayat during the elections are being fulfilled and efforts will be continued to provide basic amenities to the people in the coming days. The Sarpanch said that all this has been possible due to the efforts of the Power Department and the local people, for which the people of the Panchayat deserve to be congratulated. On this occasion, SHO Harjit Singh appealed to the youth of the Panchayat to keep away from bad habits like intoxication and if anyone is promoting intoxication in the Panchayat, then he should be informed So that Police can take action against such elements.
