| Jan Abhiyan receives massive Public response in Udhampur | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
UDHAMPUR, Sept 14: The pre-Back to village under Jan Abhiyan activities witnessed massive public response across the Tehsils, blocks and Panchayats of the District Udhampur.
During the last five days of the campaign, the line departments held series of awareness cum registration camps to cover the eligible persons under individual beneficiary schemes, adhaar collection and adhaar generation of the existing beneficiaries. The camps held at Panchayat, Block and Tehsil levels also witnessed registration of eligible persons under AB-PMJAY schem, distribution of golden cards, mask distribution, Jan Sunwai activity. For effective monitoring of this programme, the District Administration has designated nodal officers for all Blocks of the District to monitor the activities and ensure participation of Block level officers of all the departments in the Block Divas. The District Administration has made all arrangements for effective delivery of services on Block Divas at block headquarters.
