Govt suspends two senior KAS officers

JAMMU, Sept 26: J&K Govt today suspended two senior KAS officers by seperate orders issued by general administration department (GAD).
"Ashiq Hussain, Deputy Registrar, Cooperative Societies, J&K suspended on basis of ACB-FIR-04/2020-K-11693-94 dated 25.08.2020 from the Director, Anti-corruption Bureau, J&K",
Government Order No.897-JK(GAD) of 2020 Dated:26-09-2020 read.
"Pending enquiry into his conduct, Ashiq Hussain, Deputy Registrar, Cooperative Societies, J&K, is hereby placed under suspension, with immediate effect in terms of Rule 31 of Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1956", the order read, adding that during the period of his suspension, he shall remain attached in the office of Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir.
As per the another order Mohd. Mujib-ur-Rehman Ghasi, KAS, Special Secretary to the Government, Industriesi and Commerce Department has been placed under suspension. "On the basic of ACB-FIR-04/2020-K-11693-94 dated NO. 25.08.2020 from Director, Anti-corruption Bureau, J&K",
Government Order No.896-JK(GAD) of 2020 Dated:26-09-2020, placed the officer under suspension.
"Pending enquiry into his conduct, Mohd. Mujib-ur- Rehman Ghassi, KAS, Special Secretary to the Government, Industries and Commerce Department, is hereby placed under suspension, with immediate effect in terms of Rule 31 of Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1956", GAD order read, adding that during the period of his suspension, he shall remain attached with the General Administration Department.
It is pertinent to mention here that there are several officers in J&K who facing multiple FIRs, but far away from such actions due to their connections.
