B2V-III activities begin across 31 Panchayats of district Ramban

RAMBAN, Oct 5: The second leg of ‘’Back to Village-III’’ (B2V-III) program today began here across 31 Panchayats of four blocks of Sangaldan, Gandhri, Gool and Gundi Dharam.
PRIs and a large number of locals participated in the different activities conducted by the Visiting Officers at their assigned Panchayats.
In the morning session, the visiting officers interacted with representatives of PRIs and the general public and took detailed appraisal of their grievances and problems. They listened to public grievances and registered their issues and demands in their books.
They also inspected schools, health institutions, AWCs, water bodies, tube wells, Pacca Paths, water and power supply schemes besides ongoing development works.
Later, they interacted with the frontline government functionaries and prominent citizens and discussed various core problems and issues being faced by the locals of these Panchayats.
During the programme Sports kits were also distributed among the youths at different Panchayats.
The Public evinced keen interest in the “Back to Village-III” activities and unequivocally highlighted their grievances and proposed various suggestions and measures for overall development of their villages.
