Muskan Foundation holds candle march

Samba, Oct 5: Muskan Foundation Vijaypur organised candle march for “Justice For Manisha”. The candle march was an initiative taken by Muskan Foundation Vijaypur to provide Justice to rape victim - Manisha Valmiki who has been gang raped in UP.
More than 50 girls gathered at main chowk on Sunday with candles and posters to protest against rapist. Residents mostly from all part of Vijaypur participated in the protest where the girls expressed their three main demands against the rapist i.e Rapist must be hanged to death, justice for the victim & immediate action in this case. The protester also questioned why no serious action had been made yet against the rapist. Parveen Sangral, President Muskan Foundation also show her concern and demands for early justice for Manisha. She further adds that in our society having a male child is seen as a privilege. She further said that its our duty to raise a boy in such a way that he respects a girl and females feel safe and protected.
Parveen Sangral was physically present and took participation in rally and lit a candle at Vijaypur chowk. She added that it has been widnessed neither Media person nor any one was allowed to suspect the matter and visit the Hathrad which is injustice and inhumane.
