| AJKGRSJ criticizes UP Govt over rape victim death | | |

Jammu, Oct 5: A general meeting of working Executive Committee of All J&K Guru Ravidass Sabha Jammu was held today under the President of Sabha Piran Ditta with branches affiliated with Sabha representatives also attended the meeting. While addressing meeting Piran Ditta said the it is very shocking for the whole Dalit Samaj that a 19 years old dalit girl Manisha Valmiki was gang raped and then brutally assaulted due to which Manisha Valmiki died in Hathras, (Utter Pardesh). The victim struggled for her life in Aligarh but no action was taken by Utter Pardesh Police administration as well as U.P. Govt. The Sabha strongly condemned this action on part of Utter Pardesh Govt. and demanded that Rashtarpati should dismiss Utter Pardesh Govt. Immediately.
All the members Present in the meeting strongly protest on the death of Manisha Valmiki and help UP, Govt. Responsible for it.
The members further blamed that U.P. Govt. is failure to maintain law and order in the state and atrocities on dalits are increasing day by day in all over India. All members in one voice demanded that this case should be decided at earliest and no mercy be granted to culprits Shri Piran Ditta further said that once again history is being repeated to suppress the dalit samaj and the day BJP has come in the power in centre Manuwad is being implemented setting aside the constitution of India. |
