M Raju listens to people’s issues at Block Panthal

REASI, Oct 5: Secretary Jal Shakti Department, M.Raju today visited Block Panthal of District Reasi Back in connection with Back to Village phase 3 program. He listened to people’s issues and assessed the development requirements here at Panchayat Sirah Kotla .
Block Development Council Chairperson, Panthal, Chander Mohan Singh, ACD, Dr. Anirudh Rai, SDM Katra, Ashok Choudhary, district officers and several frontline workers of line departments were present on the occasion. Scores of people including the Sarpanchs, Panchs, senior citizens, women also attend the programme. The BDC Chairperson, Sarpanches and panches and locals projected various issues of public importance and sought early redress of the same. The specific issues projected during the public hearing included augmentation of health infrastructure, power and water facility. The visiting Secretary gave a patient hearing to the issues and demands raised during the interaction with the PRI members and people of Panchayat Sirah Kotla. Some of the issues were resolved on the spot while the rest were forwarded to the concerned departments. He directed the officers to resolve all the pending issues at the earliest. M.Raju also distributed Soil Health cards and seeds among the farmers and inspected various works executed by Rural Development Department and the Lemon grass oil extraction plant established by Agriculture Department. At Government High School Sirah Kotla, he inaugurated a Sports events.
