Nation gained new heights of development under PM Modi’s leadership: Kavinder

Jammu, Oct 20: Former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi led Government is all set to take India to new heights of progress in coming times as present pace of development in the country is unparalleled.
While starting development works here today, the senior BJP leader said that BJP has gained confidence of every person cutting across the lines of region or religion. He said that Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory, after abrogation of Article 370, is fast moving on the path of peace and progress and the nation has scaled new heights of development eyeing on welfare of all sections under dynamic leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.
Gupta said that the country has touched new heights of development and almost every sector has witnessed unprecedented progress. He said that the Central Government has launched a series of welfare schemes benefitting the weaker sections of the society. Besides, a number of welfare schemes have been launched keeping in view the interests of women, youth and farmers, he added.
Citing few of the revolutionary steps taken by BJP Government including abrogation of Art-370, taming terrorism, resolution of Ayodhya dispute, etc, Kavinder said that there is not an iota of doubt that country is in safe-hands now and no power in universe can inflict any harm to people of the great nation.
The former Deputy Chief Minister called on people to come forward and take benefit of these schemes. Earlier, Kavinder started blacking topping of road work with an estimated cost of Rs 1.6 crores at Ward 52, Jammu. Corporator Ajay Gupta, District President Vinay Gupta, Nitin Thapa, Kuldeep Singh and Narinder Koki accompanied the former Deputy Chief Minister. Meanwhile, Kavinder also inaugurated registration camp of Ayushman Bharat Yojana at Bahu Fort, Sanjay Nagar and Digiana. Corporator Sharda Devi, Raj Rani, Mandal President Bharat Bhushan, Sahil General Secretary, Gurkirat Singh, Vinod Sharma, Mohinder Verma and Yogesh Sharma were also present.
