| 3 day trekking camp flagged off | | |

Jammu, Nov 6: Director Tourism, Jammu R.K. Katoch flagged off 03 days trekking camp for Sanasar-Sankhpal from Jammu.
Speaking on the occasion, the Director Tourism said that the aim of the Trekking event is to expose the youth including Adventure Tour Operators, Travel enthusiasts, Adventure lovers and Travel bloggers.
Thirty (30) participants participated in the 03 Days Trekking event.
The group of the Trekkers is flagged off under the supervision of Sh Pankaj Kumar Anand Dy Director Adventure and Sh Anil Kumar Chandail Dy Director Publicity.
Other officers who participated were Sh Umesh Shan AD Tourism, Sh Rahul Mahajan Accounts Officer including staff of Directorate of Tourism Jammu.
While briefing to the participants Sh Anil Kumar Chandail Dy Director Publicity said that the objective of the Department for conducting the event is to expose the youth including the experienced travelers to the adventure Tourism activities and to explore the unexplored tourist destinations and in Jammu division there is huge potential and the tourists visiting Shri Mata Vashno Devi ji can be attracted to provide them different options and facilities by involving local youth. He further added that such activities shall be conducted in high frequency to showcase the other potentials.
The event is being organised under the guidance of Sh R. K. Katoch Director Tourism Jammu. |
