Jammu, Nov 6: Citizens Forum has appealed the Lieutenant Governor led administration to give equal share to Jammu in the appeasement policy initiated by government to plug militancy in Kashmir.
R K Chadha President of Citizen's Forum said Kashmir is aligned with political leaders who for the sake of power always want to keep Kashmir simmering with one issue or the other and in the process brought the annihilation of simple and common people of Kashmir and along with people of Jammu who never supported Kashmir to create such devastated condition in the UT.
Chadha said since appeasement policy has started Jammu should be equally given its due share of development, infrastructure and important projects, “In order to think a way forward for, economically and socially a prosperous Jammu, we have decided to form a Jammu Think Tank of the common citizens including former Ministers, MLA's, MLC's, top Educationist, Doctors, Lawyers, Technocrats, Journalists, Industrialists, top Businessmen, and most elderly persons of Jammu in their personal identity and not political or members of certain organisations to sit together and think for the betterment of Jammu”, he said. |
