Refugees, Gorkhas, Valmikis have all rights as others citizens in J&K: Varinderjeet
11/11/2020 11:04:23 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 11: National Sikh Front (NSF) Chairman, S. Varinderjeet Singh, while criticising the utterances of Kashmir based Awami National Conference (ANC)leader Muzaffar Shah, said that refugees from West Pakistan, Gorkhas and Valmiki families have all rights which are being enjoyed by other residents of the J&K UT. He said that with the abrogation of Article-370 and 35A, all the hurdles in grant of citizenship rights to the West Pakistan Refugee Gorkhas and Valmikis have been removed and now as per the Constitution of India, they are as equal as other people residing in Jammu and Kashmir.
S. Varinderjeet Singh said that whatever has been uttered by the ANC leader is totally wrong and highly condemnable as it is only an attempt to mislead the Kashmiri on land law but none from the Valley has concrete logic to oppose the new law. He said that now there is only one Constitution and that is Constitution of India, which is fully applicable in J&K and hence those speaking against it are indeed doing a crime and may be booked for sedition. S. Varinderjeet Singh appealed the people, particular, West Pakistan Refugees, Gorkhas and Valmikis, to get united and support the nationalist forces to defeat the nefarious designs of Gupkar Parties, who are Politicising the non-issues just for their political survival but the people cannot be fooled any more as they have seen the real faces and acts of NC, PDP, National Awami Conference, Peoples Conference and others, who have been pushed to wall after the abrogation of Article 370 and are struggling harm to remain in public.
