| Kathua Police arrests 11 persons in NDPS cases in last 10 days | | |

KATHUA, Nov 11: Continuing it's drive against narcotic smugglers, Kathua Police in the past ten days, arrested 11 persons and registered eight FIRs in NDPS cases.
SSP Kathua Shailendra Mishra on Wednesday said that in total eight FIRs were registered in which different types of NDPS were recovered.
He said that 900 grams of Cannabis (charas), nine-kg of Marijuana (Ganja), 33 grams of Heroin and five-kg of Poppy straw (Bhukki) was recovered and 11 persons were arrested.
He said that Kathua Police is striving hard and taking every possible step to make people especially youth aware to eradicate drug menace.
"We request people to forward and share information about drug peddling or consumption on 100 with police for the cause and the identity will be kept confidential," he added. |
