| Missing girl recovered by Samba police | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
SAMBA, Nov 13: District Police Samba today reunited a missing girl with her legal heirs who was missing since 10.11.2020.
On 11.11.2020, a written report was lodged at PS Vijaypur by one person, resident of village Patti, Samba stating therein that his younger sister (age 23 years) went college at Digiana, Jammu on 10.10.2020 and didn’t return back home.
All efforts were made out by the family members but the whereabouts of the missing girl could not be ascertained.
Acting on the complaint, a missing report vide DD No. 12 dated 12.11.2020 was registered at PS Vijaypur and search started to trace out the said missing girl.
With continuous and strenuous efforts made by Police team of PS Vijaypur and with the help of SHO PS Ramban, the missing girl was recovered from the Ramban.
The recovered girl was brought back safely to PS Vijaypur and thereafter handed over to her legal heirs after completing legal formalities at PS Vijaypur.
The family members of girl expressed gratitude to District Police Samba in reuniting missing girl with the family. Accordingly, the missing report was closed vide DD No. 04 dated 13.11.2020. |
