Ban Toll Plaza encounter: Big question mark over check infiltration on IB
11/20/2020 12:15:00 AM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Nov 19: Although security forces have achieved a big success by eliminating four terrorists at Ban Toll Plaza early Thursday morning, this incident has once again put question mark over steps taken to check infiltration from the International Border (IB).
Terrorists managed to enter into J&K through the national highway and the biggest question from where these Pakistani terrorists have managed to sneak into Indian side.
On January 31 this year, three truck-borne Jaish-e-Muhammad (JeM) militants were killed at similar place. During that incident one person was arrested by the police and he was cousin of suicide bomber Adil Dar, who carried out a deadly attack in Pulwama last year and martyred 40 CRPF jawans.
During the incident of January 31, it was established that killed terrorists belonged to the JeM. It was established that Pakistani terrorists had crossed the International Border (IB) from Dayalachak area Hira Nagar and they were picked up by the truck on Friday. Today’s incident was a repeat of January 31 incident which is a warning signal. It appears that terrorists are using trucks to move from one place to another.
Although police have started investigation to identify the place from where these terrorists have managed to sneak into Indian side, it is believed that they (Pakistani terrorists) have entered into this side through International Border (IB).
On August 29, the Border Security Force (BSF) had detected a tunnel near the India-Pakistan International Border (IB) in Samba district. The tunnel has been detected in Bangalad area of Samba district.
The tunnel, about 50 metres from the border fence on the Indian side, was detected by a patrol in the Samba sector of Jammu.
