Ramban, Nov 20: The Department of Youth Services and Sports, District Ramban being organized a weeklong refresher course for Physical Education Teachers & Rehbar-e-Khel for different disciplines of sports like Kho-Kho, Volleyball, Kabaddi, and boxing at Government Middle School Maitra, Ramban.
Programme being organized under the chairmanship of Director General, Youth Services & Sports, J&K, Dr. Saleem -ur- Rehman to improve the games level as well as talent of youth at different platforms besides promoting the sports culture in the district which was presided by the District Youth Services and Sports Officer (DYSSO) Ramban, Dharamvir Singh.
As many as 60 physical education teachers are participating in the said course.
Under which master trainers would be imparted the Know-how and innovative techniques of sportsmanship and games to participants.
Speaking on the occasion DYSSO said that the main aim of this Refresher Course is to provide knowledge about new rules and regulations of the concerned game and to provide physical fitness along with all components of Physical Education & Sports, techniques and skills to the participants.
The Technical Officials of the concerned game have been deputed for the said course at the venue, he informed.
Among others who are acting as master trainers including Zonal Physical Education Officer Ab. Rehman Wagay Physical Education Master, Joginder Paul Gupta, Mujahid Hussain , Physical Education Teachers, Anis-uz-Zaman Wani, Pardeep Singh Katoch, Bharat Singh, Ajay Chand, Arun Kumar Sharma for training purposes. |
