JAMMU, Nov 24: United Democratic Alliance (UDA), Convenor Rajiv Mahajan, while lauding the efforts of JK UT Administration for registration of residents by holding camps at different areas and trying to give Identification code of Universal Health Insurance Scheme under Ayushman Bharat scheme launched by Central Government, asked Financial Commissioner Health that though with great difficulty the identification code is obtained yet in the absence of golden card same would be a useless exercise.
Like many other schemes this might also not proved to be a rhetorical and residents of UT may feel befooled, he said.
Further Mahajan invited the attention of FC Health that Lt. Gov Manoj Sinha's decision to register all residents of JKUT be also implemented in letter and spirits as the same old practice is being adopted by CSC agencies based on 2011 census which data doesn't give desired results to the registered beneficiaries by the concerned agencies staff.
Mahajan appealed to the concerned officer of Government to facilitate the Pensioners/Sr. citizens to get benefits of the scheme keeping in consideration the climatic conditions of the area.
