Rukhsana Gani reviews functioning of Hospitality & Protocol Department

JAMMU, Nov 24: Secretary, Hospitality & Protocol (H&P), Rukhsana Gani, today chaired a meeting to review functioning of the department.
Secretary asked the officers to work with utmost zeal and dedication ensuring time bound action on all significant issues regarding the department.
Director Hospitality & Protocol, Hashmat Ali Khan, gave a detailed presentation about functioning of the department, its assets at Jammu, Udhampur, Srinagar, Gulmarg and Pahalgam.
Threadbare discussion was held regarding various issues faced by the department because of its increasing role and responsibilities.
Secretary was apprised about the ongoing projects including expansion of Circuit House Jammu, Guest House Jammu and expansion of Circuit House, Srinagar.
The meeting was also attended by Joint Director Hospitality & Protocol Jammu Ansuya Jamwal and other officers as well as the engineering wing of PWD (R&B).
Later, Rukhsana Gani inspected the premises of Hospitality & Protocol and reviewed the on-going projects, their designs besides enquiring from the executing agencies about the progress on various ongoing works. She also visited the Guest House and Circuit House Jammu.
