GDC CHENANI conducts psychometric analysis of the students

Chenani, Nov 27: Government Degree College Chenani organised a webinar under the aegis of Manodarpan initiative, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India on Psychometric Analysis. A General Health Questionnaire was used to collect the data from the student participants.
A total of 238 students responded to the questionnaire through online mode. After the data analysis through descriptive statistics, the finding showed that the maximum students fell in moderate level category of General Health. The detailed deliberation and PowerPoint presentation by the Guest Speaker Dr. Piyali Arora, specialist in Clinical Psychology, Govt. College for Women, Parade Ground highlighted the details about the psychopathological disorders and raised the health issues among the students that they might have faced during the COVID - 19 Pandemic.
The key highlight of the webinar was the orientation about the clinical psychological tests and techniques i.e. projective techniques TAT test and RIB test, objective techniques MMPI test and 16 PF. Principal of the College, Dr. Pragya Khanna emphasised that the College shall take more such initiatives in future for the psycho-social development of the students through Manodarpan programme. All the faculty members of the College played an important role for the success of the complete exercise.
