KATHUA, Dec 16: Deputy Commissioner Kathua, Om Parkash Bhagat presided over the Block Divas programme held in the premises of PWD Rest House Basohli, today.
SSP Kathua Shailendra Mishra, ADC Basohli Tilak Raj Thapa, SDPO Basohli Vikram Singh and all the officers of Basohli sub-district PRI members and a large number of people were present during the day long programme.
Delegations from different Panchayats, besides scores of individuals apprised the Deputy Commissioner about the problems faced by them in day to day life.
BDC Chairman Sushma Jamwal raised the issue of construction of a protection wall at Chanchlo Mata temple which was damaged due to landslide. She also raised the issue of low voltage at Kashmiri Mohalla near GDC Basohli.
The DC gave patient hearing to the delegations and passed on-spot directions for redress of their grievances.
Similarly, Block Divas programme was held at PWD Rest House, Billawar where ADC Sandesh Kumar Sharma listened to the people's grievances in presence of frontline field functionaries of different departments. |
