Early Times Report

JAMMU, Jan 9: Member of Parliament and senior BSP leader, Rajaram reviewed the performance of the party in the recently held District Development Council (DDC) elections in J&K.
Chairing a meeting of senior functionaries at Party Headquarters in Jammu, the Member Parliament said that BSP in the UT of J&K has been working for the overall good of people and has sidelined it from deceiving the masses.
“BSP has selflessly worked for the public as is witnessed in the ground level and this sort of public support in the DDC polls was witnessed for the first time since years,” Rajaram said while felicitating Party’s winning candidate from Nagri constituency in Kathua, Sandeep Majotra.
The Member Parliament also felicitated Sandeep for his extraordinary performance in the DDC elections and working for the betterment of the people and the party. “Other political parties including BJP have so far deprived the people of far flung district including Kathua, Udhampur, R S Pura etc.” he said.
Somraj Majotra, BSP J&K President, lambasted BJP for failing the people of Jammu and Kashmir and deprived them of even basic facilities.
“BJP has befooled and misled the people of J&K and Kathua and Udhampur in particular with their decisive tactics and fake promise,” Majotra said, adding “the common man is reeling under the official apathy here while the BJP government has been on track of benefiting the big corporate house and industrialists as the recently announced financial package for only benefits Industrialists.”
The meeting was also attended by General Secretary BSP J&K, Advocate Shashi Bhushan Thappa; Charanjeet Chargotra, Vice President BSP J&K while the senior leaders from Samba, Kathua and R S Pura were also present.
