Jammu, Jan 19: Shiksha Niketan Sr. Sec. School Jeevan Nagar celebrated Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s birth anniversary with religious devotion and reverence in a serene & calm atmosphere today. The Programme started soon after the principal and other invited guest had offered their “Floral Guru Vandana” with proper religious fervour and devotion.
The sancity of the occasion was properly maintained.The spiritual teachings of Guru Gobind Singh ji, were devotionally highlighted through Gurubani and religious sermons. The atmosphere of the school was filled with the “Devotion and Divinity” through Kirtan and Ardas. After the Kirtan, Prashad was distributed amongst the students, and staff members and all others present there by the school management. All precautions such as face-covering with mask, cleanliness and maintenance of social distance etc. to ward off Covid-19 were followed
The principal of the school, Rameshwar Mengi conveyed his good wishes to all the students and their family members. Further he said that the teaching of the Guru removes darkness of ignorance with the light of “Spiritual Knowledge”.
The programme concluded on a happy note with the festive spirit and unbeatable excitement among all especially the students. The overall atmosphere in the school campus was devotional and blissful.
In the last, Principal prayed for the end of prevalent Covid-19 Pandemic and return of the happy and normal life again. |
