KATHUA, Feb 11: Jammu Sanskriti School (JSS) Kathua organized a virtual event 'Art in Academics' under the tutelage of Jammu Sahodaya Schools. 'Art in Academics' is a noble approach to education blended with artful innovations and creativity.It is a process in which art becomes the medium to learn and to teach. This event provided students an opportunity to exhibit both their unique potential and knowledge.
30 CBSE affiliated schools of Jammu region participated in this Art Competition. All the dynamic students of class 4th and 5th showcased their exuberant talent and creativity.
The event was inaugurated with lamp lighting ceremony to seek the blessings of almighty followed by the beautiful, balance of mind, body and soul - a spiritual Yoga performance. A medley of Dogri folklore was also sung by students of Jammu Sanskriti School Kathua to showcase the richness of Dogra culture.
Mili R Sumbria, Principal Jammu Sanskriti School Kathua along with her coordinators and Nidhi,TGT Science welcomed all the guests virtually.
This event was witnessed by galaxy of intellectuals, guests, executive council of Jammu Sahodaya namely Pramod Srivastav, President Jammu Sahodaya, Principal Modal Academy, Dr Kunal Anand, General Secretary Jammu Sahodaya, Principal DPS Udhampur, Dr Vikesh Kaur, PRO Jammu Sahodaya, Principal Doon International, Anil Pathania, Technical Officer, Principal J K Public School Kathua, venerable principals from different institutions while Mukesh Singh, IGP Jammu was the chief guest and Shailendra Mishr, SSP Kathua, was the guest of honour. The Special Guests on the occasion were Trilok Singh Bist, Principal DPSG Vasundhara, Delhi, Vijay Puri, Mentor Jammu Sahodaya, Rohini Aima, Vice Chairperson Jammu Sanskriti Schools, Harpreet Singh Anand, Chairman Jammu Sanskriti Schools, D R Patel Principal KV Lakhanpur, Deep Khare Principal Jodhamal Public School Jammu and Rahul Kapoor, Principal MLZS Tarore.
