Bring Mahanaal Holy Shiv Caves on globetrotting map of India

Jammu, Mar 11: Lord Shiva’s Mahanaal is magnificent beautiful place located at nearby Jakhole in Kathua District of J&K State. An appeal is made to Manoj Sinha, Lieutenant Governor of J&K Union Territory to bring Mahanaal Holy Shiv Caves on the globetrotting map of India for tourism sector in Kathua District of J&K UT.
Hundreds of thousands of devotees and followers from districts of Jammu, Samba and Kathua including pilgrims from Himachal Pradesh and Punjab states visit Lord Shiva’s Mahanaal at Kathua for celebration of Mahashivratri festival. The devotees line up to get a glimpse of Lord Shiva’s Mahanaal and seek his blessings on Mahashivratri.
Mahashivratri hold religious importance in Kathua and the unique importance of the Mahanaal Shiv Caves lies in the fact that it resembles with the Shri Amarnath Cave in appearance. It is observed with great enthusiasm in which the people of all castes and religious participate.
Hundreds of local volunteer’s organizations from areas of Jakhole, Bakhta and Dhanni route organized langers and bhandaras to the devotees who performed their darshans for worshipping and blessings of Lord Shiva on Mahashivratri festival.
There is a lot of development that needs to be done to promote Mahanaal of which infrastructure development, upgradation and improvements of road-bridge network connectivity and 24x7 rural electrification power supply is the most important one.
The followers and devotees of Lord Shiva’s Mahanaal has appealed Manoj Sinha to bring Lord Shiva’s Mahanaal Holy Shiv Caves located at Kathua District as nationwide destination place from Jasrota to Mahanaal routes for promotion of tourism sector of Kathua District.
