Security forces bust Hizb terror hideout, recover 6.330 kg of explosive

Jammu, Mar 26: The security forces in Kishtwar District busted a terror hideout in the vicinity of under construction 1000 MW Pakal-Dool Power Project in Dool area some 15 KM District Headquarter Kishtwar.
As per the details available with Early Times, Kishtwar police and 17 RR during a search operation in Natnas area of Dool find a hideout inside a natural cave like opening and on its search they found some explosive material hide inside it.
On searching the hideout, they recovered 18 Gelatin Sticks approximately 3.60 Kg in weight with each stick consists of around 200 grams in weight, another 7 Gelatin Sticks with each stick having 390 grams with total weight of around 2 Kg 730 grams and this 6 Kg 330 grams of explosive was recovered from the said hideout along with 3 Detonator pins, 5 Electric wire and 2 Bags.
The hideout was busted in Natas Dool forest area of Kishtwar District and is located at stone throw distance from existing of 390 MW Dool Hasti Power project while the construction work of another 1000 MW Pakal-Dool HEP is going on at war footing bases.
The area as per the sources is dominated by Hizb militant commander Jahinger Saroori.
Senior police officials confirm the busting of the terror hideout in Dool area added that the case has been registered and the investigation has been set in motion.
The sources said that the explosive recovered from
the terror hideout is fresh and police is probing the source of explosive recovered from the hideout.
The sources said that security forces is also suspecting the hand of some locals in providing the explosive to the militants for its use in terror related activities added that the explosive is only available with the power project management, government departments as well as with some contractors engaged by the government in road construction work.
“Let the investigation moved — we will try to find out the source of the explosive since it will help us in identifying the persons involved in breach of the security system” said senior official wishing not to be named.
