| BJP wants to run Delhi govt through remote control: Aam Aadmi Party | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Mar 26: Expressing resentment and anguish over passing of a bill and making Delhi LG as Governor General by snatching the powers of elected Delhi Government, the Aam Aadmi Party, J&K, Jammu has described the same as frustration of BJP due to its failure to defeat Arvind Kejriwal incessantly in three general elections in Delhi and termed the same as “Murder of Democracy” and naked dance of barbarism, brutalism and extreme exhibition of majoritarianism without caring a fig for political ethics, parliamentary procedures, killing the conscience of greatest democracy of the world.
In a hand out issued, AAP Jammu said that if, as per the latest Act passed by the Parliament, Delhi Government means Lieutenant General then what is the use of marathon election exercise of choosing Delhi Government in a democratic manner. The bill passed by BJP Government is a great insult to Delhites because their will through ballot has been brutally crushed bulldozing their power.
Maintaining that the Delhi Model of governance has become a talk of the town in the entire country, the release said that of providing free electricity in the 5- states going for polls, is just like emulating Kejriwal model of Government at Delhi which in its true spirit is “Government of the people, for the people & by the people.”
Congratulating Delhites for their prudent and wise step for bringing AAP government to form their destiny changing opportunity, the AAP Jammu enjoined upon the people of J&K to emulate the foot prints of Delhi people to get rid of corruption, communalism, nepotism & discrimination as the people is fed up with the conventional spent forces who have exploited the people for last 72 years to enhance their political interests. |
