| Workshop on awareness about COVID-19 held | | |

Jammu, Mar 26: The NSS unit of GDC Jindrah successfully concluded a three-day workshop from march 24-26, 2021 to raise awareness about COVID-19: precautions and vaccination under the theme 'Each one Reach One’ under the guidance of Dr. Rajshree Dhar, Principal, GDC Jindrah.
The NSS volunteers under the supervision of Dr. Sunil Dutt Sharma, Program officer, NSS unit, GDC, Jindrah organized various activities under the said theme to raise awareness amongst the people of Jindrah village which is adopted by NSS Unit of GDC, Jindrah.
On day 1 (24 March 2021) NSS volunteers made people aware of COVID-19 and vaccination drive undergoing for people above 60 years of age at primary health center, Jindrah. COVID test of NSS volunteers was also conducted on this day by Primary Health Center, Jindrah.
On day 2 (25 March, 2021) NSS volunteers again aware people about the deadly disease and SOP to be followed to prevent COVID-19. A poster making competition was also held on this day around the theme.
On day 3 (26 March 2021), a rally was organized by NSS volunteers and posters reflecting the theme were displayed at Jindrah market area. Dr. Shafeen Kaul of Primary Health Center, Jindrah also raised awareness amongst the people about COVID-19 and masks were also distributed during the event.
The whole NSS unit and staff of the college actively participated in the workshop during the period.
