BJP committed to all round development: Kavinder
3/28/2021 12:16:25 AM
EARLY TIMES REPORT

Jammu, Mar 27: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta on Saturday said that saffron party is committed to all round development of J&K with both rural and urban hamlets getting equal share.
The senior BJP functionary was speaking after launching lane and drain work at Ward No. 52. He was accompanied by Corporator Ajay Gupta, Ward President Nitin Thappa, Ajay Baddan, Monu Gupta, Sayam Gupta, Vinay Gupta and Lucky Puri.
The former Deputy Chief Minister said that since January 1, 2021, development works of nearly Rs 60 lakh have been initiated in this ward. He said that BJP’s main focus is on providing world class civic infrastructure to people of the UT and for attaining the mission the party is working relentlessly. He said that by the slogan ‘Sabka Vikas’, the BJP has avowed that it will leave no stone unturned to ensure development in the UT with no loopholes or shortcomings.
The senior BJP leader said that the development works completed under BJP regime are long lasting and can past all the endurance tests unlike those accomplished by the earlier dispensations which seldom passed the durability tests and often got washed away with the first rainspell of the monsoon.
Interacting with the former Deputy Chief Minister, the locals expressed gratitude to him for the initiative and also apprised him of various other problems which they were confronting with.
After giving a patient hearing, Gupta assured them to project the same at the concerned quarters for the early redressal. He said that public welfare is the motto of BJP and its leaders and therefore whenever there is a problem the people can come to him and share the same.
He said that being public representative, he holds the responsibility of resolving people’s problems. He said that the development profile of J&K is fast changing and soon the places in the UT will start looking like the modern cities of the world.
He cited few examples which improved the aesthetics of the city including green towers, wall paintings, upgraded stadium, better road network, etc. He asked the locals to act as eyes and ears of government by reporting corruption and other malpractices in development works to ensure transparency and accountability.
