‘Khwabon Ki Chandni’ hits Amazon, Jammu poetess hits milestone

Jammu, Apr 5: Sarvbhasha Trust New Delhi released a first ever book penned down by the daughter of the soil, Kajal Suri , a feat that none other woman has achieved after having left her home town and flourished on the national milieu
The significance of the book release entitled ‘Khwabon Ki Chandni’ was that some of the elite and stalwarts attending the online fiction on zoom expressed their heartfelt love and respect to the author , some of them comparing her with Maithili Sharan Gupt , and others terming the poetess as a replica of world-renowned John Keats as her poems reflected in the book .
The total composition of 103 poems by Kajal Suri is mostly based on the subtle environs of Kashmir and her love with Jammu as Dogra region with vast and abundant culture and heritage
Speaking to the media in Jammu, Kajal said that while arranging her poems, she had a be very the tedious task to compile the timeline of the events of her home state and she tried every bit of the significant things related to her state fall in places.
“My poems have a reference of Chir, Devdar, Hazrat Bal Shrine, Maa Vaishno Devi , Shri Amarnath, Shankracharya, Bahu Fort et al.,” she said adding that Kashmir and Jammu is prominently signified in Khwabon Ki Chandini.
Dr Jeet Ram Bhat, Secretary Hindi, Sanskrit and Gharwal Akademi who joined the release function on zoom, termed Kajal’s poems and works at par in comparison with the ilk of Maithili Sharan Gupt and others.
“I have been a clinical observer of various works. Kajal has extended her boundaries to flourishing heights,” said Dr Jeet Ram Bhat.
The poems that touch the soul rendering impacts related to human psychology as well as women thought process caught inviting the attention of Vineeta Thakur, broadcaster and poetess who put Kajal performance at par with John Keats and Shelley.
Ramakant Sharma Udhbhrant, Deputy Director Askashwani Doordarshan, Jaya Jadwani , Sahitya Akademi Awardee, Jharkhand, Ram Avtar Bhairwa , Sahityakaar and poet , Vikram Sharma , senior journalist J&K UT and thespian theatre director, Preet Raghav renowned poetess and Shruti Puri joined the function which was a great hit. ‘Khwabon ki Chandini is available on Amazon. Keshav Mohan Panday , president Sarvbhasha Trust New Delhi wrote the review of the book.
