Jammu, Apr 5 : Zonal Police Headquarters Jammu will be organizing 3rd Police Public Cricket Premier League (PPCPL) for under 19 boys in collaboration with Sr. Cricketers of Jammu & KC Sports Club Jammu on the pattern of IPL from 18th of April to 30th of April, 2021 at KC Sports club. Under the chairmanship of IGP Jammu a threadbare discussion was held for the smooth & successful conduct of the event wherein it was decided that in order to avoid major gatherings no selection trials or auction of players shall be conducted this time but the participating teams can conduct selection trials at their own at different places for the composition of their respective teams. Different committees have also been formed. The executive committee of the league includes Chandan Kohli SSP Jammu, SSP Pawan Parihar SO to DIG Jammu, Rajesh Gill CPO & Former Ranji Player, Shahid Parvez , Surinder Singh Bagal, Rakesh Koul former Ranji Players, Arjun Choudhary MD KC Sports Club, Ashish Singh MD Horizon Sports Club, Sudhir Singh ,Sanjeev Mahajan, Saleem Ur Rehman BCCI Level 1 Umpires. Seven teams will participate in the tournament which includes The Game Changer, Kathua Knight Riders, Vriddhi Royals, Samar Strikers, Elite Tigers, CAP Smashers and Game Changers Rising Stars .
The franchise owners include Amit Sharma, Sanjeev Mahajan & Rohit Gupta, Surinder Khadyal, Tajinder Singh, Avinash Kumar, Ramanpreet Singh Wazir. The Cash Prizes includes Rupees One Lack fifty thousands for Winners, Rupees One Lack for Runners-up, Two thousand for man of the match in all matches, LCD for Best Batsman and Bowler, Twenty Thousand for man of the series, besides trophies and certificates will also be given to the runners up and winning teams, informed by the Org. Secretary. The IGP Jammu has kindly consented to inaugurate mega cricket event on 18th of April,2021 at KC Sports Club Ground Jammu. |
