Mayor, team tours Bahu Fort temple

JAMMU, Apr 12: Chander Mohan Gupta, Jammu Municipal Corporation today along with Narinder Singh, chairman Health & Sanitation Committee, Sham Lal, Councillor of Ward no. 48 conducted an extensive tour of Bahu Fort Temple and its surrounding areas to review for providing best possible facilities in terms of better sanitation, LED street lights/ High mast lights, continuous drinking water and other allied facilities to the devotes who will come to have Darshan of Kali Mata Temple during the upcoming Holy Navratras starting from 13/04/2021.
Mahant Bitta Sharma, Rajeev Charak senior BJP leader, representatives of Bahu Fort shopkeepers Association, prominent inhabitants of ward no. 47 & 48 as well as Sanjogeeta Sudan, Health Officer JMC, S. Harvinder Singh, Chief Transport Officer JMC Rajinder Kumar I/c Sanitation Officer, Parshotam Kumar Gupta I/c Transport Officer, concerned Sanitary Inspector & other supervisory staff of various wings of JMC were also accompanied the Mayor during the tour of the area.
Speaking on the occasion, Mayor told that JMC has already deployed its men & machinery from the last many days in ward no. 47 & 48 and all the roads/ lanes leading towards Bahu Fort temple has been got thoroughly cleaned.
He further appeal to the general public to cooperate with the JMC field staff in all the activities, do not use single used plastics/ polythenes, do not throw garbage, waste in the open, use nearby dustbins installed by JMC, wear face masks, maintain proper social distancing & follow other guidelines during their visit of the temple keeping in view the corona virus pandemic.
