7 killed, 3 others injured in yet another accident in Doda

JAMMU, Apr 12: In another tragic accident in Doda District, seven persons including four women died after a vehicle in which they were travelling meet with an accident on Machipal- Kahara stretch of Bhalessa road while three others were injured and are under treatment at Government Medical College Jammu and Doda respectively.
As per the details available with Early Times, the driver of the ill fated Minibus lost the control over his vehicle as a result of which it falls into rivulet, a tributary of River Chenab in near Kahara in Doda District as a result of which three person died on spot.
After hearing about the accident, SDM Thatri Athar Amin Zargar along with police from near by police station immediately rush to the spot and started rescue operation which was also joined by the locals.
After hectic efforts the injured were brought out of the ill fated, but among them three injured later suffered at GMC Doda while another lady who were airlifted along with two others died at GMC Jammu. The official sources identified the deceased as Yaser Hussain S/o Bashir Ahmed R/o Dhrouth, Shakur Din S/o Ab Aziz R/o Tanta Kahara,
Kalee Bagum W/o Ab Kareem R/o Pykul Bhalessa, Anjoo Devi w/o Sunil Kumar R/o Challer, Sudhesha Devi W/o Maan Singh R/o Suhanda Shiva, Peem Chand S/o Sant Ram R/o Challer Bhalessa & Kali Bagum W/o Late Mohd Ibharim R/o Dichla Nagsini, District Kishtwar.
The injured persons were identified as Tanveer Hussain,Abdul Latief and Ghulam Mohammad.
Speaking to Early Times, SDM Thatri Athar Amin Zargar inform that the crane pull up the ill fated vehicle, however they didn't find any dead body trapped inside the vehicle.
He said that as off now- the administration has not received missing report from anyone.
"We are keeping an eye at Thatri and Pul Doda Dam- I don't think anyone is missing as off now" Zargar said.
