Take precautionary measures to contain spread of coronavirus: DDC Chairman

KATHUA, Apr 21: DDC Chairman Col Mahan Singh along with his family today visited Lakhdi to attend Bhagwat Katha being conducted by Guru Maharaj Subash Shastri ji and sought his blessings for people of Kathua District to stay safe and healthy amidst increasing cases of coronavirus infection. This auspicious seven-day Bhagwat Katha was organised by Narayan Dutt Tripathi, DDC member Nagrota Gujroo.
Speaking on the occasion, Col Mahan Singh appealed to people to adhere to the advisories issued by the government and take all the precautionary measures to tackle the threat posed by CoronaVirus. He asked all attendees to take all necessary precautions like wearing a mask, maintain social distance and frequent washing of hands with soap.
Yesterday, Col Mahan Singh had also released a video message for the people of Kathua district and urging them to take all necessary precaution to stay safe during this pandemic. He also appealed to people to cooperate with the government and maintain social distancing besides remaining confined to their homes to combat spread of coronavirus, as without cooperation of citizens it would be hard to achieve desired results of making India free from COVID-19.
