DODA, Apr 21: As the Govt of J&K UT announced fresh covid control measures keeping in view the present status of Covid-19, Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Thathri, Athar Amin Zargar chaired the meeting of market associations and briefed them about the fresh guidelines with regard to transportation, operation of market, night curfew etc. During the meeting it has been decided that shops shall be allowed to open on alternate days by categorizing various areas in and around the municipality, besides it has been decided that essential commodities shops shall function as per routine on daily basis subject to the implementation of social distancing measures.
Moreover it was also decided in the meeting that all the donation collectors for religious and other charitable institutions shall be screened first then shall be allowed to collect the donations which shall be applicable for 72 hrs only, besides the SDM urged all the shopkeepers as well as locals to get vaccinated as early as possible.
Meanwhile, the SDM also conducted market checking at both Thathri and Premnagar, and also interacted with the public representatives during which he asked them to extend full support to the administration in implementing the fresh guidelines. He also asked the police officials to implement the directions in letter and spirit.
