JAMMU, Apr 21: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and social activist Gurmeet Singh appealed to people to follow the health protocols to help in fighting the Corona Virus and urged people to come forward for vaccination. Singh said the fight against COVID-19 is not restricted to one organization or one community; it’s time to fight against this deadly disease together, adding that cooperation of every individual is needed.
Singh said that people of the country understood the need of staying at home and trying to work from home and added that every individual needed to come forward in helping to break the chain and appeal to people to stay safe and be determined not to get infected themselves.
The number of positive cases is increasing each passing day but can be reduced if we fight it together, he said.
Aam Aadmi Party is concerned about the well being of citizens and hoped that the concrete steps should be taken to combat the spread and vaccination drive will assure victory against the pandemic.
He emphasized that people should come forward for covid vaccination as this is the best way to safeguard ourselves and our near and dear ones from Covid-19 pandemic. Singh appealed to the Central Government to establish Mohalla clinics for not only helping in picking up the symptomatic cases of Covid-19 but also preventing the other patients visiting hospitals from contracting the Covid-19.
