GDC Pouni organize ‘best out of waste competition’

Jammu, Apr 23: The EVS Club of Government Degree College, Pouni, Reasi under the guidance of Prof. Rajni Bhagat, Principal GDC Pouni, organized a “Best out of Waste” competition.
The main objective of organizing this competition was to indulge students into extras-curricular activities with exclusive tools that is waste material and to make them familiar regarding the environment concerns by streamlining and utilizing their ideas and imaginative power through activity based learning.
20 Students were participated in the competition. they made the objects like mini house models using waste cardboards, pen holder using plastic bottles, pen holder using newspapers wall hanging using newspapers and many more things with waste materials.
Prof. Rajni, Principal GDC Pouni distributed the certificate to all the participants and gave brief description on the competition and congratulated the Prof. Bindu Sharma, and other staff members including Prof. Balbir Kumar , Dr. Tarseem Kumar, Prof. Jaspal Singh , Prof. Sapna Sharma ,Prof. Reyaz Ahmad Reshi for organizing such events that would help to take this institution to a new height.
