| Subordinates not taking Director school Education’s order seriously | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 23: A circular has been issued by the Directorate of School Education regarding attachment of teachers is a clear indication that officers are not obeying orders of the Director School Education.
Joint Directors, Chief Education Officers (CEOs) and Zonal Education Officers (ZEOs) are issuing attachment orders of teaching staff without taking Director School Education into confidence.
As attachments of teachers and masters were going unabated despite repeated directions, the Director issued a circular on Thursday evening in which he gave a clear warning to officers of his department. “It has been observed that Joint Directors, Chief Education Officers and Zonal Education Officers of Jammu Division in violation of Government instructions/orders deploy/attach teaching staff in different offices without approval from the competent authority which creates administrative indiscipline in the department”, the circular reads.
It is accordingly enjoined upon all the Joint Directors, Chief Education Officers, and Zonal Education Officers of School Education Department not to effect any deployment/attachment of any teacher/Master (teaching staff) at their own level within their Districts /Zones. However, if any exigency arises, all such cases of deployment/attachments wherever required shall be forwarded to this office for prior approval.
The Director, in his circular, warned that disciplinary action will be taken against those who would violate directions. |
