SSP Kishtwar calls on MS DH Kishtwar, assures to strengthen hospital security

KISHTWAR, Apr 30: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kishtwar met Medical Superintendent (MS) District Hospital (DH) Kishtwar here today.
SSP, Kishtwar Shafqat Hussain Butt accompanied by Additional SP Kishtwar Musheem Ahmed and SHO Police Station Kishtwar Abid Shah Bukhari assured Medical Superintendent District Hospital Kishtwar, Dr Parvaiz Iqbal Wani of all possible help during COVID pandemic beside also assured to strengthen security at District Hospital. As per the details available with Early Times, the senior officials discussed various issues pertaining to the functioning of District Hospital Kishtwar including the present security scenario in the hospital.
SSP Kishtwar immediately ordered the doubling of the security at District Hospital Kishtwar beside also at the COVID Vaccination center. MS Dr Wani informed the SSP Kishtwar about parking of vehicles by the general public inside the hospital premises as a result of which they are facing a lot of hardship. SSP Kishtwar issued on spot directions to SHO Kishtwar to ensure that only genuine vehicles get parked inside District Hospital premises. Dr Wani also informed the SSP Kishtwar that around 7 COVID patients are recovering at District Hospital Kishtwar beside also briefed him about the availability of oxygen stock at District Hospital Kishtwar and also about the medicines available at the hospital. Both the officers resolved to work together for smooth functioning of the hospital during emergency and crisis. SSP Kishtwar also ordered the constitution of two teams of 8 police personnel each with two PSIs who will rush to Udhampur for refilling the empty oxygen cylinders beside SSP Kishtwar also offered police vehicles for transportation of medicines as well as empty oxygen cylinders for refilling since the ambulances used for transportation of medicines and empty oxygen cylinders could be used for the welfare of the people and shifting of patients in the need of the hour. MS DH Kishtwar expressed his gratitude to administration and police for extending their full support to the hospital management in formalizing the plan to tackle the COVID crisis.
